Are you planning on throwing your husband’s old T-shirts? Stop for a second and think about the things that you can do with them. With this tutorial I will walk you through the step-by-step process of how to turn a dress shirt into a baby oneness. So, hold your horses and do not give away the old shirts just yet.
You can easily create a rocking dud for your little bud with easy-to-follow steps. Scroll down to learn the process.
Lay the old dress shirt on a plane surface and mark the sides that need to be cut with the help of a fabric pencil.
Now, sew along the marked lines with a matching thread.
Cut off the extra fabric with the help of scissors, as shown in the figure below.
Repeat the process for the other side of the dress shirt.
Cut of the extra fabric as you did before.
Now, attach the closure to the bottom with the help of a sewing needle.
And Tada! You are done, the romper is ready to be worn by your precious baby.
Make sure that the romper is inside out when you sew the sides. Now, turn the outside in and let your baby enjoy it.
