Jackets are a luxury of the winters and denims are the kind of jackets that everyone loves. However mostly these jackets are paired with same colored jeans and a t-shirt. However there are a number of creative ways in which you can pair a denim jacket and stay ahead of the fashion game. Here are some of the ideas but this list is by no means inconclusive. All you need is a bit of creativity to make your wardrobes sing.
Double Them Up
Denim jackets are fun to look at but they aren’t normally warm. So one way to style them would be to add another longer and looser jacket or coat above it. It would be better to keep that upper layer in bright colors. A camouflage print would be a great choice for a jacket and a plain light colored coat would be a good choice. Avoid putting on a leather jacket above a denim jacket. Instead choose a fluffy or parka jacket. Keep the shirt white or light colored and let the jackets shine.
Tone Down The Fancy Dresses
Sometimes we have wonderful dresses but they are too fancy to be worn during the day time. There are also some dresses that we feel are too flirty for a class or a formal event. To tone down the shine and glitter or to make a dress more suitable for a normal day wear add a denim jacket. It would look especially good if the dress has some print with the same shade as your jacket.
Use It As A Shirt And Tuck It In A Skirt
This is a risky dressing choice but if you have a flattering figure then this could make for an excellent informal outfit. Choose a high waist skirt, button up your jacket and tuck it in. leave it a little loose or tuck it in tightly, whichever way you feel it suits you more. You can also do that with a pair of jeans but that would give the look of a jumpsuit and it would not look as good as a plain colored skirt.
Button It And Belt It
This is another way to use the denim jacket as a shirt. You can button up your jacket all the way down and add a belt around the waist. This will flatter your look and also give you an excellent way to use those denims. This is the perfect style for longer jackets. Roll up the sleeves and add a touch of casual confidence to your look. Accessories would make wonders. Add a fancy necklace and some bracelets to complete your denim dress.
