The successor to Sony's Xperia Ace, announced in May 2019, has been unveiled in Japan. An octa-core MediaTek processor powers this compact, budget-friendly Sony phone. 

A single RAM and storage configuration provides it with a choice of three color options. With two cameras on the back, the Sony Xperia Ace 2 features a notch on display for the selfie camera. The phone Sony Xperia ace 2 is water-resistant to IPX8 and runs Android 11 right out of the box.

Sony Xperia Ace 2 price

In Japan, the Sony Xperia Ace 2 costs roughly 63,999 in Pakistan for the only model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. In addition to Black, Blue, and White, this product is also available in Silver. In the meantime, it is unknown whether or not Sony's Xperia Ace 2 will be available internationally.

Specifications for Sony's Xperia Ace 2

With an HD+ display (720x1,496) and a notch for the selfie camera, the Sony Xperia Ace 2 ran Android 11 and was made by Sony. MediaTek Helio P35 powers the Xperia Ace 2's SoC, and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The 64GB onboard storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).


Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, 4G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port are all available for connectivity on the Sony Xperia Ace 2. Sensors such as ambient light, proximity sensors, and accelerometers are onboard. 

A fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the device and also functions as a power button. In addition to having a 4,500mAh battery, the Sony Xperia Ace 2 is water-resistant to IPX8 standards. The phone is 140mmx69mmx8.9mm in dimension and weighs 159 grams.

Snapdragon 865 in Sony's Xperia 5 II

Sony has just announced the Xperia 5 II, and it offers an enhanced gaming experience with some impressive features. It has been launched in select regions, including the United States and the United Kingdom. There is a single RAM and storage configuration for this phone, along with an octa-core processor and triple rear cameras. US customers can choose from four color options, and UK consumers can choose from three. It is expected to be available by the end of the year.

Sony Xperia 5 II price

The Sony Xperia 5 II costs EUR 899 (roughly Rs. 78,000) with the single 8GB + 128GB storage option. Black, Blue, Grey, and Pink will be available in Europe, while Black, Blue, Grey, and Pink will be available in the United States. In autumn 2020, Sony will launch the phone in Europe but did not provide an exact date.

The Verge reports that the phone is priced at $949 (roughly Rs. 70,00) in the US and will be available starting December 4. There is no information on Pakistan's pricing and availability yet.

Sony Xperia 5 II specifications, features

It runs Android 10 on its dual-SIM (Nano) configuration. On the device's 6.1-inch full-HD+ display (1,080x2,520 pixels), there is a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses a 240Hz touch sensor. A 21:9 aspect ratio and HDR along with 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage are also available. Xperia 5 II packs 8GB of RAM and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

A triple rear camera setup will provide you with photos and videos that include a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 12-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle f/2.2 lens. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens can be found in the top bezel of the front panel.

Double Rear Cameras on Sony's Xperia 8 Lite

Sony has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Xperia 8 Lite, in Japan. Sony's Xperia 10 smartphone from last year has almost identical specs as this phone and nearly the same design as that device. 

There are a few differences in the specifications of the rear cameras of the two phones. In addition to the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the Xperia 8 Lite Pakistan comes with a dual-camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera. There are two color options for the handset: black and white.
