Fashion is not only exhibited by the brand you wear or by the designer you follow. It is more in the details than in the clothing items. Donning up one extra scarf over your jeans and shirt can make all the difference and add your personal touch to your attire. The better part is that a single scarf gives you more than a few opportunities to take your dress a notch up. Here are a few ways in which you can tie your scarf and leave people in awe every time you come up with a new knot.
French Knot
This is one of the most popular knots and one of the most chic ones too.To tie this knot you need a long scarf. Fold it in half and throw it around your neck. To make the knot put each loose end piece over and under the rounded loop end.
Necklace Knot
Take one end of the scarf and tie a loose knot. Take the other end of the scarf and pull it through the loose knot. Put it once under and once over the knot loop and pull it to tighten comfortably around your neck.
Two In One
Take two scarves and join them tip to tip. Wrap them around your neck and bring one scarves into sight. Turn the side of the tips and bring the other scarf out. That’ll show a different shade on your neck and another hanging on your shoulders. Alternatively, you can stretch one and wrap the other around it. The part around your neck would show two shades while you can bring out any of the two out in the hanging part.
Simple Looks Good Too
Once in a while let the scarf casually drape your shoulders and hang around your neck. It will be even better if you do with a sleeveless dress. The occasional sight of your arms hidden beneath a silk or chiffon scarf would add a chic look to your dress and make you look more regal.
Doubled Up Casual
Also known as the neck wrap, this knot is an excellent choice for wintery scarves. Wrap the scarf twice around your neck and make a knot with the loose ends all the way up to your neck. Draw the neck loop part over the knot and let it keep your neck warm on a chilly day.
Waterfall Knot
Take a wider scarf and wrap it around your shoulders with one loose end shorter than the other. Give it a second wrap, then take one corner of the loner loose end and tuck it in the wrap around your neck. Let the other corner hanging in a V-shape.
